What a country we live in

Published December 01. 2018 07:48AM

Five thousand incarcerated Pennsylvania inmates infected with hepatitis C will have free access to anti-viral drug treatment costing $100,000 per inmate, thanks to Gov. Tom Wolf.

Taxpayers shell out $4 billion annually for illegal immigrant births. Last year taxpayers paid about $670 a day for sheltering each of the 41,000 unaccompanied alien children, a whopping $1.4 billion. Some of the benefits: three meals plus two snacks per day, comprehensive health care, multicultural crayons, new clothes, gym equipment, field trips, movie nights, Wii, swimming, bowling, special foods, soccer, basketball and volleyball tournaments, fishing, Spanish language yoga, a robust cable TV package, and celebration of their cultural holidays, just to name a few.

Meanwhile, California Camp Fire evacuees, many who are women with infants and young children are living in makeshift camps or in their cars in Walmart parking lots using hair dryers to keep their children warm, with temperatures reaching into the 30s at night. Is this a great country or what?

Where the lawless are coddled, and the righteous get kicked to the side. Where the entitled live by a separate set of rules, and affirmative action moves even the undeserved to the front of the line. And where the Bible, the greatest words ever penned, is shunned by the gubmint schools.
