Carbon County court – DUI

Three people entered guilty pleas on Monday in Carbon County court to driving under the influence charges.

Judge Steven R. Serfass accepted the pleas from the following:

Brad Balliet, 46, of Jim Thorpe, was arrested on May 26, 2018, by Mahoning Township police along Beaver Run Drive after being involved in a crash. A test revealed a 0.30 BAC.

Sentencing was deferred so Balliet can apply for placement in the Intermediate Punishment Program, house arrest.

Kyle T. Rabenold, 24, of Mary D, was arrested on June 23, 2018, along Route 443 by Lehighton police. A test revealed a 0.08 BAC.

He was sentenced to serve five days to six months in jail, a fine of $500, one-year license suspension and render 25 hours of community service. He must also pay court costs of about $1,000, a $50 per month supervision fee while on parole and follow any recommendation of his drug and alcohol evaluation.

He will begin the jail term at 6 p.m. on Jan. 18 and serve it consecutive weekends of two days, two days and one day.

Kyle Lee Tetreault, 22, of Nesquehoning, was arrested on Nov. 16, 2017, by Lansford police at East Patterson and Springgarden streets. A test revealed the presence of a controlled substance.

Sentencing was deferred so Tetreault can obtain a drug and alcohol evaluation.

Just a refresher folks the legal limit is .08 so Balliet was f@#$%##$#$#$$ked up! You gotta put some effort into that.
That's called "tolerance". If you're that wasted, and still think you can drive, you've been drinking heavily for many years.
Everyone will get caught eventually.
