Liquor board cites Carbon business

Published January 24. 2019 09:10AM

A Carbon County business has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement of the state liquor control board for violating the state liquor code.

Reiley’s Pub, Route 903, in Penn Forest Township, was cited on Jan. 18 for a violation that occurred on Dec. 14, 2018. The board said the establishment sold, furnished and/or gave or permitted such sale, furnishing or giving of alcoholic beverages to a minor.

This charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious ones. In addition the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.

Thanks to the Republican Majority Legislature, a small fine is all that is given to the Republican business owners who corrupt our youth.
Carbon County is a Democrat county, so I would assume the local judge will be too.
Where did you get that info?
Commissioners- Republican Majority
Rep. Heffley- Republican
Congress, Meuser - Republican
In the past election Carbon voted predominantly Republican!
Stay in the Skook, and rinse that coal dust out of your head.
