W. Penn resident asks officials to reduce speed along 895

Published March 11. 2019 01:02PM

A West Penn Township resident has pleaded with township officials to have the speed limit lowered along a busy highway.

Nicole Bailey, who lives along Route 895, told supervisors last week that reducing the speed there would be for the well-being of everyone.

“How fast everybody goes is astronomical,” Bailey said. “I’m wondering if there’s anything we can do to get the speed limit lowered.”

Bailey added, “I just want it safer.”

“I have children; we just want to be safe,” she said. “I just don’t want to see anyone get hurt.”

Township Police Chief Brian Johnson said police could look to do more enforcement on Route 895.

As if the speed limit sign means anything to the ignorant Republican redneck. Losers who use Trump bumper stickers to cover the holes in their piece of crap pick ups. Animals...
RUK, what is wrong? You are a condescending bully. I bet you aren’t as smart as the “ignorant Republican redneck” you insult. Why don’t you clean up your dirty act? The world sees you destroying yourself with hatred. That is your choice. You are already ruined. You are a self created disaster. Keep it up! President Trump is in office...and you are not. MAGA! Check for misspellings on those Trump bumper stickers, it will be a good exercise for you. It will improve your spelling. I am going to highlight your hypocrisy. Joke is on you!
