Why traffic was tied up on Route 22 this morning

State police in Bethlehem reported the following crashes on Route 22 this morning between 6:45 and 7:30:

  • Westbound Mile Marker 320.0, a seven-vehicle crash with injuries.

  • Westbound Mile Marker 319.9, a three-vehicle crash with injuries.

  • Westbound at MacArthur Road, a three-vehicle Hit and Run Crash, no injuries, (white vehicle fled the scene).

  •  Westbound at Mile Marker 320.1, a four-vehicle crash.

Isn't 22 usually tied up? We pay over $ .50 on every gallon of gasoline sold, and we are forced to drive on these lousy roads.

I agree that this particular traffic issue isn't a partisan issue, but the spending ways of Wolf, is to take care of the ones who donate first, and whatever's left over can go to the taxpayers.
As for construction zones? Reduce cost by getting rid of prevailing wage law, and over priced union workers, who's dues, by the way, channel into the Democrat coffers.
The root cause of my frustration is weariness from avoiding pot holes.
Route 22 is a parking lot most of the time, but this article appears to be stating that within 0.2 mile and a 45-minute time frame, three of these incidents occurred. This is remarkable even for Rt 22.
