2019 primary election: Mayer campaigning for seat on Pleasant Valley school board
Former Pleasant Valley school district employee and 15-year resident Deb Mayer has announced her candidacy for school board director.
In 2004, after visiting the area on a whim, she and her husband knew this was where they wanted to raise their three children, two of whom graduated from Pleasant Valley.
Deb is seeking a seat on the school board to bring a change and new voice, both which are long overdue.
She has serious concerns about the corruption, lies, nepotism and overspending that has been going on with the current board. There needs to be accountability throughout, from students up to administration; something she feels those who have held these seats turn a blind eye to.
Deb understands that, while it will take a bit to clean up the mess that has been made, with consistency, honesty and common sense this district will be on top once again.
She wants the community, staff and most importantly the students to know they matter, they make a difference and their voices will be heard.
New leadership for changing times …

I agree, if you know Deb, you have on your side someone that will fight for you. Those that back her, know that what you say "mynameisjoy" is coming from an opponent or family member of that is running scared.
All the best Ms. Mayer... you have my vote, and that of many others!!
After that grand jury indictment, who in their right mind reelect certain candidates or vote for those they are endorsing!! Good luck to you
