Scattered power outages throughout the area
Violent storms moved through the area Sunday night, leaving some people without electricity. As of 4:30 a.m., PPL was reporting 5,000 residents without power across the area. In Monroe County, 15 are out in Chesnuthill and a handful out in Polk and Eldred Townships. Thirty four are out in Washington Township, Lehigh County with scattered outages in Schuylkill County
