Man stabbed in Lehighton

A man was reportedly stabbed Saturday in Lehighton.

The call came in just before 6 p.m. as the  victim reported being stabbed by two men along the Sgt. Stanley Hoffman boulevard in Lehighton. One assailant was reported to be a white man and the second an Hispanic man. They may also have stolen the victim's car.

The male was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics then transported to the Lehigh Valley hospital trauma center in Allentown. Lehighton police are investigating the incident, assisted by Franklin township police.

Lehighton fire police maintained traffic control at the scene.
