Hundreds line up along Pohopoco Drive waiting for the gates to open to Beltzville Lake on the hottest day of the year at 8 a.m.

Here's the latest forecast:

Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 95. Heat index values as high as 102. West wind 6 to 9 mph. 

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 76. West wind 3 to 8 mph. 

Sunday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 93. Heat index values as high as 102. West wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. 

Sunday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 71. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. 

Monday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 9am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 82. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. 

Monday Night: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 9pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 64. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

RAMBO, Wow, it must have taken you all morning to walk that road, asking each person where they are from, if they are a citizen, and inspect each persons cleanliness! Very hateful comments and totally uncalled for, grouping so many people into one hateful comment is like saying every US citizen is as judgmental, racist, and hateful as you! As long as it is a public beach EVERYONE has the right to be there. Understandable that people/and I are annoyed about the overcrowding and trash left behind but you are only offering racist and hateful comments...Go to some meetings, get involved and assist with finding a solution! I'll offer a suggestion, start your own campaign "Make Beltzville Great Again" since you are clearly a Trump fan!
I do not believe Rambo is a Trump supporter. This clown is simply a nobody using Trump hysteria for personal gratification. Stay in your closet Rambo.
U r right it's for everyone n everyone from out of town is there. By Tuesday it will b closed again due to scum pollution in water.
The other issue is safety. I’ve driven by there, before, when they closed the gate because the lot is full. People are just parked on the side of the road, like the picture above, grilling. Their kids are running around in the road playing frisbee, and stuff. It’s only a matter of time until one runs out in front of a car. It’s very unsafe.
Yes we can all agree changes need to be made but its bothersome how the comments have to become so hateful. Stand together as a community, go to meetings and assist with solutions.

Are they the undocumented immigrants that the Trump organization and others have hired to do their dirty work in unsafe conditions, and then stiff them on their wages because they are too scared to protest? If so, God bless them, they deserve a day off in one of our state parks. This is a commonwealth, not Mar-A-Lago. What are you doing to help? Please light some candles instead of cursing the darkness.
Notice every single vehicle in the picture is probably worth 20k or more. There are a few that look to be 50k or more. That begs two question - why not charge the $5.00 per person simply to hire more people people in the summer to clean the mess up (they should be able to afford it), and how do the the poor illegals afford such expensive vehicles if some or all allegedly don't work. Not hate, not troll...legitimate questions the Administration should contemplate.
