Lehighton business cited by PLCB

Published July 25. 2019 05:45AM

A Lehighton business has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board for violating the state liquor code.

Visa Fuels LLC, trading as Fast Fill Exxon, 24 Blakeslee Blvd., Lehighton, was cited for an incident on July 6 when they sold malt or brewed beverages in excess of 192 fluid ounces in a single sale to one person for consumption off premises.

This charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can impose a license suspension or revocation based on the severity of the charge brought.

Truly a despicable crime. Thankfully we have the PA State Legislature and the PLCB making sure that no one buys an extra beer.
The law is stupid. You can only purchase 2 six packs at a time but you can make as many trips in and out until they run out of beer as long as your only taking 2 six packs at a time. It just doesn’t make any sense but this has been the law for the last 40 years that I’ve been purchasing ha ha
Community,

Good afternoon. Where is the list of all the establishments that did not take the bait, and followed the law?

Sincerely,

Citizen David F. Bradley Sr.
