Police report theft of woman’s wallet

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the theft of a wallet at a Schuylkill County store.

Troopers said a 47-year-old woman from Orwigsburg reported she left her wallet in a shopping cart at the Giant store in the Cressona Mall, located off Route 61 in North Manheim Township, at 4:25 p.m. July 11. The wallet contained six credit cards and one debit card. Since the incident a $30 purchase has been reported on one of the stolen cards. The investigation is continuing.
